The characters in this story are captivating. But it's the relationship between Sedona and Carlos that's the heart and soul of this story. The emotions run the gamut of utter terror, desolation, panic, pure joy, delight, astonishment, wonder, and, again, the redemptive and curative powers of the all-encompassing love of family, friends, and pack. Sedona's an alpha spitfire. Carlos is a typical dominant alpha male. Their relationship shouldn't work. But Ms. Rose and Ms. Savino have woven the threads of paranormal shapeshifter erotic fiction together with such care and precision that this story not only works but is enchanting and captivating in every way. Again I'm so loving this series and cannot put down from book,to book to see who and what comes next. In this book let's find out what happens when Sedona sister of alpha GARRETT gets kidnapped stripped and shackled for alpha Carlos to mate to make a pup for making the pack stronger what you don't expect is when Carlos falls for Sedona and actually rescues his new found mate. YES Carlos does fall his beautiful Sedona find out what happens between these 2 and how things end up. Does Sedona fall for Carlos?? Does she indeed become pregnant as the so called council wish??? Again these books do have dark element and have dominate nature to them but if you enjoy these kind of reads which I do then these books are for you even though I have noticed can be a standalone read I'm,finding they enterwinded with one another so I suggest start with book 1 and go through them together ...
I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book for my honest review and I also purchased it so I could be a verified purchaser reviewer. This is book 3 in the series but it is a stand alone. You will want to read the other books in the series but you don’t have to. Before I knew it the story was at the end, the story is so absorbing. I wanted more! The story flows from one scene to the next seamlessly. The characters are believable and relatable in the context of a paranormal shifter storyline. Sedona is the daughter of an alpha wolf in Phoenix. She is literarily thrown into a situation to be the mate to another alpha wolf in Mexico. It’s a sinister plot. But there is an HEA with a lot of sexy steamy scenes along the way. I enjoyed reading this book. There is some mild BDSM play. One-click it you won’t be disappointed.
