I have recently finished this "reset", so I wanted to be sure to write a review. I was familiar with Harley's name in the world of celebrity fitness, but when I saw him on Revenge Body I was intrigued by his plan. I was already having one smoothie a day, so that seemed manageable enough. I had been working out several times a week at Orange Theory Fitness, and while I was toning up, I still had so much fat on top of my muscle, and my weight was at an uncomfortable number for me, so I wanted to do something to really shake it up. I read through tons of reviews, and it seemed like most of the negative ones were from people who hadn't even tried it, so I wanted to give it a shot.I am a stay at home mom, so I do have flexibility and making smoothies was no problem, but I could see how this might be challenging for someone on the go or working in an office. I am 39 years old and at 5'5" I weighed 141 when I started, so I am not way overweight, but definitely had 10-15 pounds to lose. I already had a pedometer that had been collecting dust for years, so I pulled that out. I was surprised by how little I was actually walking each day, but it became a challenge to myself to get more steps each day than the day before. I now walk usually a minimum of 12,000 steps, but often more. The first few days I felt hungry and a little grumpy, but I was losing weight quickly which seemed a fair tradeoff. Once the first five days were up and I could add a meal, I felt much better. I chose to eat breakfast, as that was when I was hungriest.I enjoyed the smoothies, as they were different than what I would normally make. I always add greens to my smoothies, so the white and red ones were a nice change. My 15 days ended two days ago, but I am continuing on with the plan because I feel great. Other than a headache on the first days which I am sure was from withdrawals, I have not had a headache, which is a huge improvement for me as I suffer from them on a regular basis, I think because of my sugar addiction. My energy also remains great throughout the day, whereas before I would get a a serious mid afternoon slump every single day. I honestly was feeling so run down and terrible on a daily basis that I was getting very frustrated, and in turn probably reaching for foods I should not have. I also normally have terrible PMS, where I feel like I have been hit by a bus for the few days before my period starts. Other than some mild moodiness, I have felt great this time around, which is such a relief considering my period comes every 24 days or so, so feeling terrible that often stinks!The walking aspect has been very relaxing. In the book Harley talks about people busting their butt for an hour at a work out class and then being sedentary all day, and how this really isn't doing our bodies any good, and this really resonated with me. I often have an all or nothing attitude about working out, like if it's not a super challenging sweat session than it's not worth it and I end up doing nothing instead, which is totally illogical. So the idea of incorporating something as easy as walking into my day seemed like such a relief. It's easy to lose motivation and not go to a workout class, it's not hard to stand up and walk around. I also had no problem doing the body weight exercises, although it did take me more like 13-15 minutes each session as I was doing the advanced recommendations of 3 circuits of 20.All in all, I would say this has been such a positive experience for me. I lost 6 pounds in the 15 days, and about 5.5 inches, and I was very happy with that. I felt like grocery shopping and meal planning was so much easier (and cheaper) without having to plan out what was for dinner each day. I feel very motivated to keep up with it and I would and have recommend this to anyone looking to get back on track. Thanks Harley!

I am the biggest skeptic when it comes to fad diets! I had seen Harley on Revenge Body and thought that his diet approach seemed logical. But a few weeks ago a good friend of mine told me she did the diet and that she lost 10 lbs in 15 days. And she probably only has 10-12 lbs to lose total. I decided to give it a try. I am on day 7 of the reset. I have lost 8.5 lbs so far and feel so much better. I'm not going to lie, the first few days were tough! Not during the day but at night around dinner time. I was mostly just missing a HOT meal. But I got through it. My boyfriend is also doing the reset with me. He has lost 12 lbs so far. We went to a birthday dinner on Saturday night and he even ate but just tried to stick to only meats and some salad. He's still down even with the little "cheat" in there. I have been sticking to my 10,000 steps a day which has been a challenge but when you can't sit on the couch and snack eat... you do it a lot easier :) I am looking forward to meal prepping and continuing a healthy lifestyle diet after the 15 days. This diet really showed me how much we were over eating and how we made our plans around food! It's crazy! I feel a lot better and just seeing that number drop down on the scale has given me the motivation that I needed. THANK YOU!

I started this on 2/25 weighing 160 lbs. and have lost 6 lbs already as of 3/10. I am 39 years old women and have been trying to lose weight for 2 years so far after I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I also have PCOS with insulin resistance and thought I was doomed to lose weight. Because of the insulin resistance I could only do Phase 1 for a three days because it was too much fruit (fructose), woke up sweating at night. So I started doing Phase 3 (eat around 1300 calories a day) with a smoothie for lunch during work and that works WONDERFULLY! I used to eat fast food during work lunch and now I have a smoothie! I use a pedometer and strive to do 10,000 steps a day and that is getting fun, like a game to find new ways to squeeze the most steps out of anything I do. And I have SO much energy. As many other reviewers have mentioned, there is nothing inherently new about his info, but I needed a simple starting point to begin eating more structured diet with a low cortisol producing exercise like walking to get my metabolism moving again. I also track my food in the Lose It app and website. Also, found ThinkThin 150 calorie bars are awesome, the perfect 150 cal 5 protein, fiber and sugar Harvey recommends for snacks and they taste great (s'mores are my favorite). Hope this review gives just one person motivation for change!! Oh and I have 13 more lbs to lose so will updated this post accordingly.

A must buy! Amazing, simple, tasty recipes. The first week I lost 4 pounds! It's been a month and a half since I started the "diet" more like a life style change and I've kept off 16 pounds. I feel incredible and healthy.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who hasn’t been able to lose the weight! I’m the type of person who needs to see it in front of me. And this book does it! Tells u exactly what to eat and how to exercise. I followed the plan exactly and lost 15lbs in 15 days!!! And that’s not all. I have continued the diet as phase 2 and have been losing 5lbs each week!!! I’m down a total of 30lbs in less than a month and I feel great. This book is awesome!

This book has changed my life. It is easy to follow and the smoothies and meals are AMAZING.

Excellent and clear instructions, and frankly delicious food. This system made it genuinely easy to drop flab -- and yet there's enough protein to keep muscle. It's a lot of time at the blender, but well worth it.

I lost 17-1/2 pounds in two months on this diet.
